Mrs. Patricia A. Conley

Mrs. Patricia Ann (Black) Conley, age 90 of Ridge Road, Bristol, died Sunday, February 11, 2018 in Grace Barker Nursing Center, Warren. She was the wife of the late William F. Conley, her husband of 64 years who preceded her in death in November of 2013. Born and raised in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Thomas H. and Mary A. "Mae" (Driscoll) Black. Patricia was a resident of Bristol most of her life. She was a graduate of St. Xaviers School in Providence and she worked in various positions for the Newport Employment Office for the State of Rhode Island for over 40 years, starting her career in their office in Warren, retiring in 1989. She was a communicant of St. Marys Church and a member of the Bristol Highlands Beach Association. Patricia enjoyed traveling with her late husband, summers in Maine at the family camp, playing cards with her Friday night card group. She is survived by four children; Patricia A. Lamb of Kennebunk, Maine, William F. Conley, Jr. (Anna) of Bristol, Jayne E. Jamiel (the late Francis) of Warren and Thomas M. Conley of Bristol, seven grandchildren; Rebecca J. Harden (David), Michaella F. Dziedzic (Jason), Elizabeth F. Beigel (Alex), Alexandra F. and Victoria F. Jamiel, Robert J. and Catherine M. Conley, Two Great Grandchildren; Elodie Rose "Ellie" Harden and William Conley Harden. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret M. Black. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 9:00AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Marys Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Friday, February 16, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 PM.
