Mrs. Nicoletta (Castigliego) Quintal, age 88 of 54 Barker Avenue, Warren and formerly of Bristol, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Grace Barker Nursing Center, Warren surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Joseph Quintal, to whom she was married for 66 years. Born in Bristol, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Nancy (Armillotto) Castigliego. A resident of Warren since 1984, she lived in Bristol for most of her life. She was a rubber worker first for the former Bristol Manufacturing Company and then for the former Minor Industries for 40 years, retiring in 1984. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Joseph Quintal, Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Barrington, Nancy Quintal-Flynn and her husband Bob of Swansea, MA, Joann Robin and her husband, Ben of Palm City, FL and John S. Quintal and his wife Patty of Warren, four grandchildren, Amy E. Flynn, Erin Schenck-Flynn, Casey Quintal and Taylor Robin, a great grandchild, Shelby Schenck and a sister, Mary DeFusco of Bristol. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Nicholas Castigliego. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
