Mrs Mary M. Remieres

Mary M. (Nunes) Remieres 86, of Bristol passed away on July 7, 2014. Born in Providence, she was the wife of the late Thomas W. Remieres Jr. and daughter of the late Mary Rego Quimby, Frank Nunes and the stepdaughter of Henry A Quimby. She was the loving mother of Susan Donovan (Glenn), Sally DeGalley and Sharon Breighner, Grandmother of Glenn, Colleen and Cara Donovan, Alexander and Bianca DeGalley and Allison and Jack Breighner, Great grandmother of Ellie, Liam and Grace Donovan. Before retirement she was employed by the Bristol Public Schools as a teacher assistant. She also worked at the former Industrial National Bank in Bristol. Mary was a former member of the Bristol Junior Womens Club, the St. Marys Womens Guild and a classroom volunteer in the Bristol elementary schools. Funeral Services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Marys Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Saturday morning 8:00-10:00 AM.
