Mrs Mary Barbara Catalano

Mrs. Mary Barbara (Estrella) Catalano, age 89 of Garfield Rd., Bristol, died Sunday, July 11, 2010 at the St. Elizabeths Manor, Bristol surrounded by her family.She was the wife of the late Michael F. Catalano, born in Bristol and a life long resident she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Catherine (Brown) Estrella. Mary worked for the Country Club Cleaners in Warren for 12 years before retiring. Mary was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. Mary was very devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Mary will be sadly missed by her children Clara R. Josephs of Falmouth, MA, Patricia Head of Sarasota, FL and Michael A. Catalano of Bristol. Her sisters and brothers Connie Palumbo, John Estrella, Alice Kulpa, Elise Calce and Kathryn Ebbitt all of Bristol. Also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, Carl Catalano, a grandson, Michael J. Catalano, two brothers, Manuel and Anthony Estrella. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home 192 Wood St., Bristol Thursday at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting Hours Wednesday, 4-8 PM.
