Mrs. Mary Ann (Marabello) Almeida, age 74 of 50 Richmond Street, Bristol died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Grace Barker Nursing Center, Warren, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Arthur Almeida. Born in Providence and a lifelong resident of Bristol, she was a daughter of the late Anthony S. and Mary Julia (Mansi) Marabello. Mary Ann was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1955. She was a waitress for Van's Spa in Bristol for a number of years, retiring several years ago. She had previously worked for the former Almac Grocery Stores in their East Providence Office and a clerk at former Brook's Pharmacy in Bristol for a few years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bristol and a member of the Rosary and Altar Society. She was a avid Bingo player. She is survived by a daughter, Lori Almeida of NewYork City and a son, Robert 'Rob'Almeida of Bristol, four grandchildren, Alex and Ryan Almeida, Bennett and Marlowe Kulla, a brother, Frank Marabello and a sister, Carol Cook, both of Bristol. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gaetano 'Guy' and Anthony E. 'Jr' Marabello. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Monday, April 2, 2012 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours, Sunday, April 1, 2012 from 2:00-5:00 PM.
