Mrs Martha M. Whitaker

Martha M. (Enos) Whitaker, age 47, of Greenville Avenue, Johnston, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Center Inpatient Facility, Providence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Donald L. Whitaker, Jr. Born in Providence, RI she was a daughter of William and Margaret 'Bunny' (Manchester) Enos of Bristol. Martha resided in Bristol and East Providence before moving to Johnston. Martha was a Physical Education Teacher for the Warwick School Department Aldrich Jr., High School. She loved to travel, bicycling, camping and hiking and all New England Sports teams. Besides her husband of 9 years and parents, she is survived by two sisters, Carol Zufelt, Bristol, Anne-Marie Molina of Golden City, MO, a brother, James Enos of Bristol, her cats Shadow and Jezebel, three nieces and four nephews. She was also known as the Worlds Best Aunt. She was preceded in death by a sister Linda Enos. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Friday from 4:00-7:00 PM.
