Mrs. Marion Miranda

Mrs. Marion (Chionchio-Principe) Miranda, 97, a lifelong Bristol resident passed on to eternal life on March 10, 2018. Marion was the beloved wife of the late John Miranda for 54 years. She was the daughter of the late Matteo and Frances (Cirillo) Principe. Marion was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church where she was a member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society and the Rosary and Altar Society. She was a former member of the OLMC School PTG and a longtime volunteer for the annual Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Marion was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Hope Circle. Marion was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her only son, John Miranda and his wife Margaret, three grandsons; Joseph (Kara), Jon (Maureen) and Benjamin (Paola) Miranda and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was the sister of the late Anthony, John, Thomas and Matthew Principe and Margaret Andrade. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Friday, March 16, 2018 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours will be Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 PM.
