Mrs Marie Vargas

Mrs. Marie (Mills) Vargas, age 87, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Manuel J. Vargas. Born in Smackover, AR, she was a daughter of the late Roam L. and Mae (Boliew) Mills. Marie was an employee of Collins and Aikman Corp. of Bristol. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Bristol and an avid bowler and a Dallas Cowboys Fan. She was the beloved mother of Betty J. Duarte (Frank) of Bristol, Cynthia A. Winn (Roy) of Texas and Jacqueline M. O'Brien (John) of Bristol, loving grandmother of six grandchildren, Bryan and Kevin Duarte, Susan Contente, Rebecca Murrill, Michael Winn and Eric Urban and twelve great grandchildren, Lauryn, Jennifer, Sarah, Samantha, Nathan, Elizabeth and Amanda Duarte, Madalyn and Adrian Winn, Michael and Nicole Contente and Caiden Murrill. She was preceded in death in addition to her husband and parents by a brother, Leroy Mills and sisters, Leecy Haynes, Eunice Sanders and Era Mae Cox. Funeral Services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Mary's Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Friday, 4:00-8:00 PM.
