Mrs Marie A. Borges

Mrs. Marie A. (Benevides) Borges, age 64, of 15 Ursula Drive, Bristol, died peacefully Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Paul V. Borges, her husband of 44 years. Born in Fall River, MA and raised and a lifelong resident of Bristol, she was the daughter of Anna (Pirri) Benevides of Bristol and the late Edward M. Benevides. A graduate of Bristol High School, Class of 1967, Marie was a Medical Assistant for Dr. Andrew Silverman of Pawtucket retiring in 2009. She had previously worked for Dr. Paul Agatiello, Dr. Jack Goldstein and Dr. David Greenberg. Marie is survived in addition to her husband and mother, by two sons, Edward V. Borges and his wife, Kristen of Swansea, MA and Paul J. Borges and his wife, Rachael of Warren, three grandchildren, Matthew E., Hannah M. and Luke E. Borges, and a brother, Joseph E. Benevides and his wife, Mary Ellen of Bristol. Funeral Services and Burial were private.
