Mrs. Marian M. (Marshall) Salvaggio, age 88, of Kingswood Road, Bristol, died Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the Silver Creek Manor in Bristol. She was the wife of the late Joseph Salvaggio. Born in Bristol she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Marian (Drummond) Marshall. Marian worked as a rubber worker for the former Converse Rubber in Bristol. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeths Church, Bristol. Marian will be sadly missed by her son, Jack Salvaggio and his wife, Carol of Bristol, grandsons, James Salvaggio of Bristol and Joseph Salvaggio of Winter Garden, FL, four great grandchildren, Ella, Ashlyn, Michael and Kyrik and a sister, Palmyra Cooper of Narragansett. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, Tuesday, April 27 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Monday, from 4:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Silver Creek Manor “Activities Fund”, 7 Creek Lane, Bristol, RI 02809 or Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence, RI 02914.
