Mrs Maria C. Cabral

Mrs. Maria C. (Constancia) Cabral, age 90, of Magnolia Street, Bristol, died Sunday, July 3, 2011 at the Warren Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 642 Metacom Avenue, Warren. She was the wife of the late Manuel Costa Cabral. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Evangelina (Medeiros) Constancia. Mrs. Cabral was a seamstress for 10 years at the former M & R Sportswear Co., Bristol retiring in 1980. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church, Bristol. She is survived by two children, Fernando Cabral and his wife, Constance of Swansea, MA and Marylou Hanley and her husband John of Narragansett, six grandchildren, Ronald Cabral, Michael Cabral, Fernando Cabral, Jr., Michael Recorvitz, Jason Recorvitz and Amanda Hanley, a great grandson, Cody Wiley, and a sister, Jardelina Perreira of Bristol. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Abilio and Joseph Constancia. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeth's Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visitation will be Wednesday morning only at 9:00 AM.
