Mrs. Margaret Radic

Mrs. Margaret (Parcell) Radic, age 85 of Bristol, died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Warren Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Daniel S. Radic, her husband of 28 years, who preceded her in death in 1986. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of the late James and Margaret (Gallagher) Parcell. Margaret was a resident of Bristol for 16 years, previously residing in Newport, New Jersey and Upstate New York. A homemaker, her life was dedicated to her family and to her faith; she was a communicant of St. Mary of the Bay Church in Warren. Margaret was an avid reader and a keen observer of politics. Margaret is survived by two children; Joan M. Simonds of Warren and Christopher P. Radic (Sofia B. Lizarraga) of Columbia, SC and a grandson, Daniel P. Simonds of Warren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Stephen D. Radic, a son-in-law, Patrick F. Simonds and two brothers, Laurence and Raymond Parcell and a sister, Dorothy Peters. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main Street, Warren. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Thursday morning only from 9:00-10:00 AM.
