Margee finally has the new apartment that she had threatened to rent when the testosterone level in the house was too high. Margaret Mary (Lamoureux) Mancieri, of Bristol, passed peacefully on the morning of September 24th. She was the daughter of Margaret (Kearns) and Norman “Mike” Lamoureux. She was pre-deceased by her sister Norma Calabro. Margee, as friends and family affectionately knew her, is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Mario and her sons Michael, Paul, and Kevin. It was not always easy being the sole female in the house of boys and men which is why she was so appreciative to have daughter in-laws, Denise (Harrington), Nancy (Aguiar), Adrianna (Faria), and Kevins partner Lynn (Olivieri). She was also beloved by her grandchildren, Katherine, Harrison, Isabella, Matthew, and Avalyn. She loved her nieces Lori, Debbie, and Ginny and their spouses who were an important part of her life. Margee loved her life, which was built around her family and friends. She was blessed and thankful to have lived with so much laughter, joy and love. She graduated from West High School in Pawtucket (1957) and went on to complete a nursing degree at RI Hospital and her Bachelors degree from Roger Williams College. Margee cared for others in both her personal and professional life. She spent the first part of her career working in the intensive care unit, the childrens unit, and accident room. She started a second career in 1978 as the school nurse for several schools in the Bristol School district. Upon retiring in 2001, she started a third career working alongside her husband and son Paul as the Director of Catering for Leos Ristorante. Margee loved to travel, play golf, read, garden, and was also well known for the festive gatherings in and around her home, especially the annual Fourth of July party. She leaves a legacy of laughter, compassion, great food, and most importantly love. We love you Mom, Margee, Dear. Best of luck in the new apartment.
