Mrs Mabel Almeida

Mrs. Mabel (Carreiro) Almeida, age 92 of North Lane, Bristol, died Tuesday, June 3, 3014, at the St. Elizabeth's Manor, Bristol, with her loving family at her side. She was the wife of the late Frank Almeida, Jr. Born in Bristol, and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Estulano and Mary (Sylvia) Carreiro. Mabel was homemaker and a communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church, Bristol. Mabel is survived by a daughter, Lynn Eckersley-Luiz and her husband Richard of Bristol, her sister Uzelle Acciardo of Barrington. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Joseph William Eckersley, two sisters, Ann MaKay and Sarah Cabral and a brother Frank Carreiro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 9:00 AM in St. Elizabeth's Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol.
