Mrs. Louise A. Sylvia

Mrs. Louise A. (Cholette) Sylvia, age 76 of Annawamscutt Drive, Bristol, died Sunday, April 25, 2010 at the home of her daughter, Marylou. She was born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Marguerite Y. (Choquette) Cholette. Louise worked at Rhode Island Hospital as a Registered Nurse and she was a communicant of St. Elizabeths Church. She was a member of the Trusdale Alumni and the Benjamin Church Manor Senior Citizens. Louise will be sadly missed by her daughters, Cheryl Tavares and her husband, Manny, Marylou Gomes and her husband, Mike and a son, John M. Sylvia, III and his wife, Maria, all of Bristol, grandchildren, Shelly Goudreau, Stephen Sylvia, Bethany Tavares, Shane Sylvia, David Bailey and Adam Sylvia and great grandchildren, Jayda, Jonathon, Ethan, Cole and Talan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, John M. Sylvia, IV and a brother, Paul D. Cholette. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Thursday, April 29 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bristol Rescue Squad, PO Box 775, Bristol, RI 02809.
