Mrs Louise S. Ritchie

Mrs. Louise S. (Santos) Ritchie, age 84, of 624 Metacom Avenue, Warren and formerly of Bristol, died peacefully Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Warren Skilled Nursing Center, Warren, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John Ritchie. Born and raised in Bristol, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Costa) Santos. A resident of Warren for the past 23 years, she previously resided in Bristol. A homemaker, Louise was a communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church, Bristol. She is survived by a son, John Ritchie, Jr. and a daughter, Sharon K. Ritchie, both of Warren, three grandchildren, Nichole Lee Souza, Jared Robert Souza and Kristen Ann Martino, a brother, Joseph Santos, Jr. of Morgantown, West Virginia and a sister, Matilda Daniel of Lompac, CA. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert A. Ritchie, a daughter, Sandra Lee Souza, and three sisters, Mary Costa, Lydia Holt and Laura Hochberg. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, October 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeth's Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will be private and visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
