Mrs Lori Gilbert

Mrs. Lori (Driscoll) Gilbert, age 52 of 1030 Hope Street, Bristol, died Thursday, January 21, 2016 at her home. She was the wife of Brian Gilbert, her husband of 32 years. Born and raised in Cranston, she was a daughter of Dennis and Diane (Frenier) Driscoll of Coventry. Lori was a caregiver for Life, Inc for a few years before retiring in 2011 due to illness. She previously was a seamstress with her mother, Diane, for the former Dianes Tailoring in Cranston for over 25 years. For several years she was a school crossing guard for Coventry Police. A Tiger Scout and Webelos Leader for a number of years, Lori enjoyed cooking, music and spending time with family and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by three children; Jaime Gilbert of Bristol, Kayla Creighton (John) of Riverside and Tyler Gilbert of Bristol, a grandson, Ethan Creighton, and a brother, Dennis Driscoll of Branford, CT. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours, Monday, January 25, 2016 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM in the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol. Funeral services will be private.
