Mrs Linda L. Castigliego

Mrs. Linda L. (Lannigan) Castigliego, age 59 of 28 Sunnyside Avenue, Bristol, died peacefully Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Paul M. Castigliego, her husband of 35 years. Born in Fall River, MA and raised in Bristol, a resident of Bristol most of her life, she was a daughter of William F. and Elinor (Cushman) Lannigan of Bristol. Linda was a graduate of Bristol High School, Class of 1972 and she was a Teacher's Assistant for 18 years for the Bristol-Warren Regional School Department working in various schools retiring in 2013. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol and enjoyed spending time with family especially her two granddaughters, Stella and Chloe and her many friends. She also enjoyed traveling and cooking. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by two children, Paul M. Castigliego, Jr. (Lauren) and Kim M. Butera (Dave), two granddaughters, Stella Em Butera and Chloe Lyn Castigliego, a brother, W. Sean Lannigan and a sister, Jill Ott, all of Bristol and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Monday, March 31, 2014 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will be private and visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
