Mrs Kathryn M. Mcginn

Mrs. Kathryn M. (Cody) McGinn, age 98, of 64 Beach Road, Bristol, died peacefully Monday, March 17, 2014 at her home. She was the wife of the late Edwin C. McGinn. Born and raised in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late George R. and Henrietta (Carroll) Cody. Kathryn was a graduate of Woonsocket High School and the Katherine Gibbs School. Mrs. McGinn was a purchasing agent for the former G. W. Dahl Co., Bristol for 15 years, retiring in 1980, she previously worked for a number of years for the Internal Revenue Service. Mrs. McGinn was a communicant of St. Mary of the Bay Church, Warren. She is survived by four children, Timothy M. McGinn (Barbara), Kathryn M. 'Kit' McGinn, Matthew M. McGinn (Patricia I.) all of Bristol, and Patrick G. McGinn (Marie) of Rehoboth,MA, seven grandchildren, Nature A. McGinn, Erin McGinn Argyle, Eliza McGinn, Nicodemus C. McGinn (Erin), Nathan McGinn, T. Michael McGinn, Jr. (Christine) and Christopher M. McGinn, and three great grandchildren, Jonathan, Sarah and Raegan Kathryn. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Edwin C. 'Ted' McGinn, Jr. and a brother, Dr. George R. Cody and a sister, Mary Tracy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 10 AM in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main Street, Warren. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
