Mrs Josephine Cheshire

Mrs. Josephine (Ragosta) Cheshire, age 91 of Bristol, passed away on Thanksgiving, November 24, 2016. She was the wife of the late William Cheshire, Jr. who preceded her in death in 2006. Born and raised in Warren, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Assunta (Annuziata) Ragosta. Josephine was a waitress in Warren and Bristol for many years, working at Lukes Inn until her retirement in 2004 and at “The Castle” formerly in Bristol. Josephine will be always remembered as friendly, well liked and the best mother in the world. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Cheshire of Bristol and a sister, Olga Penman and many nieces and a nephew. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lizbeth “Betsy” A. Cheshire. Her family would like to extend deep thanks and appreciation to the staff of Franklin Court Assisted Living, the staff at Silver Creek Manor and especially Dr. Pamela Harrop, for providing care and happiness for many years.
