Mrs Idalina Couto

Idalina (Pereira) Couto, age 89 of Greylock Road, Bristol, died Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Grace Barker Nursing Home, Warren surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Antonio A. Couto. She was born in Riberia Seca, Azores a daughter of the late Joao M. and Rosa (deMedeiros) Pereira She moved to Bristol from the Azores in 1954 Idalina was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeths Church. She will be sadly missed by her 3 sons Antonio Couto of Seattle, WA, Joseph Couto of Bristol and Edward Couto of Warren., her daughter Maria Marshall of Bristol Six grandchildren Michael Marshall, Alyssa Couto, Stephen, Joseph, Michael and Christopher Couto, and two great grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by five sisters, Maria, Beatrice, Lucia, Angelina, Maria dCarmo, two brothers Joao and Angelo. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home 192 Wood St., Bristol, Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Church 577 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut St. Visiting hours Tuesday 4:00-7:00 PM In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grace Barker Nursing Home Activities Fund, 54 Barker, Avenue, Warren, RI 02885.
