Mrs. Ida M. (Puya) Kloner, age 93 of Brookfarm Drive, Bristol, died peacefully Saturday, September 19, 2015 in Bristol. She was the wife of the late Israel “Irving” Kloner, her husband of 67 years who died in May of 2014. Born in Bristol, she was a daughter of the late Francesco and Lucina Bertina (Aiello) Puya. Ida was a graduate of Barrington High School, Class of 1940. She was an office manager for a number of years for the former US Rubber Company and then Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corp., both formerly in Bristol before retiring. Ida was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Christine K. Kloner of New York City, NY and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Craig A. Kloner. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service, Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. To honor Ida and her love for hats, please wear a hat. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
