Mrs Georgianna Almeida

Georgianna (Sousa) Almeida, age 97, of Fox Hill Ave, Bristol, died Sunday, July 13, 2014 at the Warren Skilled Nursing, Warren. She was the wife of the late Joseph Almeida. Born in Plymouth, MA, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (DaPonte) Sousa. Georgianna was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church. She is survived by her children, Shirley Dunbar of Bristol, Joseph Almeida, and Richard Almeida, both of Warren, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son Robert Almeida and a daughter, Leonora Soares. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeth's Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
