Mrs. Frances (Capone) Buteau of Warwick, died Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Kent Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Dr. Norman Buteau and the mother of the late Norman Jeffrey Buteau. Raised in Bristol, she the daughter of the late Matthew and Elizabeth (Leone) Capone. Frances graduated from Johnson and Wales College with a degree in Business. For seven years she was a jewelry buyer for Tilden and Thurber in Providence and also worked as a language lab technician at Pilgrim High School in Warwick for 27 years. Frances belonged to the Opera Guild and was very active in choral and theatre groups. She had a beautiful voice and sang often at wedding and other special occasions. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews and many great nieces and great nephews all of whom lived out of state but were always a major presence in her life. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Monday, November 17, 2014 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours will be Sunday, November 16 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM.
