Mrs Florence Vollaro

Mrs. Florence (Rabideau) Vollaro, age 86 of Congregational Street, Bristol, died Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Alphonse “Paduts” Vollaro who preceded her in death in August, 2000. Born and raised in Warren, she was a daughter of the late John and Agnes (Daignault) Rabideau. A resident of Bristol since 1959, a homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her family and with friends, especially playing scrabble and enjoying senior citizen bowling at Dudek lanes in Warren. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. She is survived by four children, Kenneth Vollaro (Christine), Paul R. Vollaro, Sr. (Elaine) and Jerry Vollaro (Anna), all of Bristol, Mary Ann Vollaro (Alan Marshall) of Conway, NH, a sister, Doris Galinelli and a brother, Raymond Rabideau, both of Warren, ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David M. Vollaro, a brother, Ernest Rabideau and sisters, Rita Pavao, Gloria Valenti, Evelyn DiLello and Jeanette Rabideau. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Monday, November 23, 2015 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours will be Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 PM.
