Mrs Eveline G. Sousa

Mrs. Eveline G. (Favreau)Sousa, 82, of 7 Mason Avenue, Bristol, died Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Sousa. Born in Warren, RI and a resident of Bristol most of her life and also was a resident of Port Charlotte, FL for a number of years, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn (Morrissette)Favreau. Eveline worked for the Raytheon Corporation in Portsmouth for 10 before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Bristol. Eveline loved crafts, dry flower arranging and was an avid card player, she also was a member of the RIClub in Port Charlotte, FL. She will sadly missed by her children, Elizabeth 'Betty-Ann' Santos, John 'Jay' Sousa, Jo-Ann Silva, Linda Caromile, Paul B. Sousa all of Bristol, Joseph M. Sousa of Warren and Mary Ellen Cole of Port Charlotte, FL., thirteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a sister, Doris Principe of Bristol and two sister-in-laws, Olivia 'Olie'Coelho and Natalie Sousa both of Bristol. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Agnes Silvia. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, August 6, 2012 at 10:00 AMin St. Mary's Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
