Mrs. Emily Reavis

Mrs. Emily (Stanzione) Reavis, age 88 of Kingswood Road, Bristol, died Friday, August 31, 2018 at Silver Creek Manor, Bristol. She was the wife of the late Olin Leroy Reavis, her husband of 62 years, who preceded her in death in November of 2016. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Angelina (Velleca) Stanzione. A homemaker, she was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol and loved to go antiquing, working around her home and gardens, loved music and enjoyed playing her harmonica for family and friends. An avid sports fan, she loved attending and supporting her family members sports games. She is survived by a son, Richard O. Reavis (Hillary) of Warren, five grandchildren; Natasha Sorrentino, Angelica Morena, Zachary Laber, Dalton O. Reavis and Alexandria S. Reavis, and a sister, Antonetta S. Ray of Bristol. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Emily Lela Laber (Todd), brothers; Sabato, Ralph F., Angelo C., Anthony M., Louis F., Paul L. and Gaetano J. Stanzione and sisters; Elizabeth S. Grazioso and Caroline G. Criscuolo. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 8:30 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol.
