Mrs Emily V. Deltoro

Mrs. Emily V. (Velleca) Del Toro, age 99, died Saturday, October 5, 2013 at her home in Bristol. She was the wife of the late Anthony Del Toro for 70 years. She was born at home in Bristol, a daughter of the late Albert and Mary Velleca. A lifelong resident of Bristol, Emily attended Colt memorial High School and worked for various companies, including The Outlet Company in Providence and Collins and Aikman in Bristol. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and being with family and friends. Emily is survived by her sister, Mary Silvia, formerly of Bristol and her brother, Albert Velleca of Bullard, TX. She was the sister of the late Jennie Ferrara, John Velleca and Carl Velleca. She also leaves behind a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service, Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol.
