Mrs Elizabeth Ragano

Mrs. Elizabeth (Oldham) Ragano, age 91 of 59 Opechee Drive, Bristol, died peacefully Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Daniel Ragano, her husband of 46 years. Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Winifred (Barlow) Oldham. A resident of Bristol for many years, she was a former resident in Beverly Hills, FL. Elizabeth worked in the Laboratory as a tester for the former Carr-Fulflex Corp. formerly in Bristol for over 25 years, retiring in 1985. She previously worked at the former Bristol Manufacturing Company. A member of St. Michael Episcopal Church in Bristol, she enjoyed knitting, sewing, do puzzles and was a collector of Hummels and loved spending time working in her gardens. She is survived in addition to her husband, two step daughters; Dr. Nancy Ragano-Beavan (Steve) in New Zealand, Susan Andrade (the late Thomas) of Bristol, a grandson, Scott Morris in Massachusetts, step grandchildren; Thomas B. Andrade, Jr. and Shanna Andrade, both of Bristol, Rhiannon Beavan in New Zealand and Kevin Ragano in Tampa, FL. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Morris, a step son, Daniel Ragano, Jr., and brothers, Edward and twins, Robert and Richard Oldham. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service, Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 5:00 PM in the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol. Visitations will precede the service from 2:00 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bristol Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 775, Bristol, RI 02809.
