Mrs Drusalina F. Cortallessa

Mrs. Drusalina F.'Dru' (Orefice) Cortallessa, age 89 of Peck Avenue, Bristol, died Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the Silver Creek Manor, Bristol, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph V. Cortallessa. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late Roger and Bridget (Tammaro)Orefice. She attended Bristol Schools and graduated from Colt Memorial High School Class of 1940 as a RINational Honor Society Member. She was employed at Carrs Manufacturing and she later married Joseph and then followed her husband in his military assignments Stateside. She then worked for Flo's Dress Shop of Barrington for ten years. She was a devoted communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and a member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society. She is survived by his daughter, Judith Seales and her husband Michael of Bristol, a grandson James Correia and his wife Kerrie of Jacksonville, FL. and two brothers, Michael Orefice of Bristol and Roger Orefice of Riverside. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 10:00 AMin Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will be private and visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
