Mrs Dorothy B. Caromile

Mrs. Dorothy B. “Dottie” (Coccio) Caromile, age 84, of Lea Drive, Bristol, died Sunday, September 18, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Joseph Caromile, her husband of 64 years. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, a daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Puya) Coccio. She attended Bristol Schools and graduated from Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1950. She was an administrative assistant at the Raytheon Corporation in Portsmouth for 30 years. A communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, she was a member of the Choir for many years and a member of the Rosary and Altar Society. She was also a member of the Red Hats Society and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, knitting slipper socks for charitable organizations, bowling, traveling and entertaining family and friends. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children; Anthony Caromile (Jamie), Nancy Sincoski (Jeffrey) and Susan Principe (Thomas), grandchildren; Beth Ann Caromile Lobaton, Sarah Principe Medeiros, Brian Caromile, Thomas Principe, Alison Sincoski, Brett Sincoski, Stacy Principe and Christina Sincoski, five great grandchildren, a sister, Eleanor Silva and three brothers, Joseph, John and James Coccio and also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Friday, September 23, 2016 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours, Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 PM.
