Mrs Doris T. Cabana

Mrs. Doris T. (Chabot) Cabana, age 82 of Bristol and formerly of North Smithfield and Woonsocket, died January 24, 2015 at Silver Creek Manor, Bristol. Born and raised in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Alvie and Juliette (Michaud) Chabot. She was a clerical worker for a number of years for Amica Insurance in Lincoln, before retiring a number of years ago. She had previously worked for the former U.S. Rubber Company in Woonsocket. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church in Woonsocket. Doris will be remembered as devoted to her family, extremely friendly and pleasant, and a lover of cats. She is survived by a son, Stephen P. Cabana (Michelle) of Bristol, a daughter, Karen Jaensch of Ft. Meyers, FL, three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a lifelong friend to many. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Yvonne Brien. Funeral services and burial was private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Silver Creek Manor “Activities Fund”, 7 Creek Lane, Bristol, RI 02809.
