Mrs Dolores Dora Carmone

Mrs. Dolores D. (Rego) Ruggieri Carmone, age 89 of Bristol died peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 4, 2015. Born in Warren on January 4, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Emanuel and Roseanna (Sampson) Rego. She was married first to A. Domenic Ruggieri (d. 1974) of Bristol with whom she had three children. She was subsequently married to Vincent S. Carmone, also of Bristol, who died in 2009. She traveled extensively with Vincent and enjoyed long walks with him and collecting dolls. In her retirement years they spent winters together in Florida. She is survived by her daughter, Mary D. Olson of Bristol, her sons Mark A. Ruggieri (Beth) of St. Petersburg, FL, Stephen P. Ruggieri of Port Charlotte, FL, a stepdaughter, Joanne Carter of Bristol, ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two sisters, Vivanne Murphy of West Warwick and Jeannette Rheaume of Seekonk, MA. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lewis Rego, two sisters, Dorothy Swenson and Roseanne Gorman and a stepdaughter Maria Negro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
