Mrs Cezantina Pavao

Mrs. Cezantina (Medeiros) Pavao, age 97 of Plainville, MA and formerly of Kingswood Road, Bristol, died Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro, MA surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John Pavao, who preceded her in death in 1984. Born in Taunton, MA, she was a daughter of the late Theodomiro J. and Guilhermina (Jesus) Medeiros. Cezantina was a Bristol resident for most of her life. She was an assembler for the Raytheon Corporation in Portsmouth for over 30 years, retiring in 1984. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeths Church, Bristol and was a member and past president of the Anthony C. Almeida Post, V.F.W., Ladies Auxillary. She enjoyed painting, both in water color and oil, passing the time doing puzzles, and was an avid reader. She was a caregiving for a number of years in the Bristol area, both for children and the elderly. She is survived by a son, David C. Pavao and a granddaughter, Brynn-Rylee Pavao, both of Plainville, MA. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis and Virgil Medeiros. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Visitation will be Saturday morning starting at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol.
