Mrs Celia Anna Langelo

Mrs. Celia A. (Gentile) Langelo, age 87 of Warwick, Rhode Island, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at the Orchard View Manor Nursing Home, East Providence. She was the wife of the late Lt. Colonel Arthur F. Langelo. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late John and Maria (Mirando) Gentile. Celia lived in Bristol for many years before moving to Warwick, she was the bookkeeper at Bristol County Dodge and was also the co-owner of The Village Resale Shop and Draperies Etc. both in Warren. She was a lifelong Red Sox fan and enjoyed crocheting and bus trips to Foxwoods. She is survived by her children, Diane Gray and her husband Harold of Seekonk, MA, Robert Langelo and his wife Dorothea of Stow, MA., Janine Remy and her husband Brian of Warren, RI, her grandchildren, Mark Fasano and his wife Alyson of North Smithfield, RI, Benjamin and Alexander Langelo of Stow, MA, Risa Langelo of Manhattan, KS, step-grandchildren, Robert Remy of Sarasota, FL, Tara Gray and Courtney Antuono of East Providence, RI and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Filomena Buonnano of Warwick, RI and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Sam, Benny, Chris, and Albert and 2 two sisters, Louise and Rita. Funeral Services will be held from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, RI. Monday, December 31, 2012 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours will be Monday morning only from 9:00-10:00 AM.
