Mrs. Catherine A. Parisi

Mrs. Catherine A. (Pante) Parisi, age 96 formerly of Constitution Street and North Farm, Bristol, died Monday, October 22, 2018 at the Silver Creek Manor with her son Joseph and daughter-in-law, Patricia at her side. She was the wife of the late Pasquale Parisi, who preceded her in death in August of 1987. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Santo and Victoria (Scolaro) Pante. Catherine was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Bristol. A Seamstress, she worked for the former Well Made Dress Shop and the former Crown Fastener for many years until retiring. Catherine was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and a member of the Rosary and Altar Society at the church. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Bristol Senior Center Council, Village Senior Center in Warren where she was part of the sewing club, the Warren Senior Center, the Sunshine Club, the Leonardo Da Vinci Lodge, Sons of Italy, the Harbor Lights group at St. Marys Church and the A.A.R.P. She is survived by three children; Joseph Parisi (Patricia) of Bristol, Patricia Corvello (Robert) of Watertown, CT., and Donna Moise (Michael) of Cranston, seven grandchildren; Matthew Parisi (Vicki), Laura Desilets (Eric), Brian Corvello, Michael Corvello (Cristina), Patrick Moise, Michael Moise and Trisha Russo (Daniel), and ten great grandchildren; Anthony, Michael and Joseph Parisi, Eleanor, Elise Katherine, and Claire Desilets, Sofia Corvello, Bradley, Colton and Arianna Russo. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by siblings; Joseph and Josephine Pante. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visitation will be Tuesday morning only starting at 9:00 AM.
