Mrs. Caroline G. (Stanzione) Criscuolo, age 92 of Tobin Lane, Bristol, died Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Benjamin Criscuolo, her husband of almost 68 years. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Luigi and Angelina (Velleca) Stanzione. Caroline was an inspector for the Blout Seafood Company in Warren for 20 years, retiring in 1978. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and a member of the Hope Circle, Daughters of Isabella, both in Bristol. Caroline will be remembered for her love of gardening, cooking and most especially for the love of her family and spending time with them all. She was also an avid Red Sox and NE Patriots fan. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Carol Ann Sterling (Robert) of Spring House, PA, Benjamin Criscuolo, Jr. (Allison) of Calabasas, CA, Elizabeth R. Saviano (Vincent, III) and Diane F. Lawless (Frank), two sisters, Antonetta S. Ray and Emily Reavis (Olin), all of Bristol, nine grandchildren, Kristin M. Risi (Brian Gatlin), Karin A. Risi (Sean McHale), Benjamin Criscuolo, III, Erika Lynn Saviano, Brian Criscuolo (Leah), Angela Marie Lawless, James A. Lawless, Paige E. Sterling and Maxwell Lawless and seven great grandchildren, Quinn Caroline, Benjamin, Willow, Riley, Lola, Bridget and Nathan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Marie Criscuolo, a sister, Elizabeth S. Grazioso, seven brothers, Sabato, Ralph F., Angelo C., Anthony M., Louis F., Paul L. and Gaetano J. Stanzione. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 4:00-7:00 PM.
