Mrs Carol Ann Perry

Carol A. (Gomes) Perry, 70, of Smith St., Bristol, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 at home after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born in Pawtucket, she was the the youngest of nine children from the late Manuel and Gabriella (Andre) Gomes. She resided in Bristol for most of her life and loved to spend weekends at their vacation home in NH. Her favorite place was in the kitchen where she loved to cook and bake. She believed 'being happy dosen't mean everything is perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections'. She leaves behind her husband John Perry of 50 years, her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Kat Perry of Minot, ME., her son, Shawn Perry of Warren and her son, Scott Perry of Bristol, her grandchildren Cody and Nicole Perry. She also leaves behind her brother, Joe Gomes of Bristol, sisters, Fern DeAndrade of Pawtucket, Marie Baldasari of CA., Alice Fournier of FL., Dottie Talik of MI. and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Cooper, Logan and Katie Perry, two sisters, Rose Calhoun and Pat Sylvester and a brother Mario Gomes. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 10:00 AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Ave., Warren. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Friday, February 22, 2013 from 3:00-7:00 pm in the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol.
