Mrs. Bella Elizabeth (Vera) Lima, age 100 of Hillside Avenue, Bristol, died Monday, April 20, 2015 at Silver Creek Manor, Bristol. She was the wife of the late Leo L. Lima, her husband of 53 years, who died in 2004. Born and raised in Warren, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Bella (August) Vera. Bella was a Bristol resident for 65 years. Bella was a graduate of Warren High School, class of 1932. She was a secretary for the Bristol Public School System for several years before retiring in 1979. She previously worked at the former City Hall Hardware in Providence and Staple's Coal Company in Warren. She is survived by a sister, Mary K. McKay of Greensboro, Vermont and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Gablinske and Georgia Borges and two brothers, John and Warren Vera. Funeral services and burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
