Mrs. Barbara Ann Cabral

Mrs. Barbara Ann (Lomastro) Cabral, age 71, of 15 Tilbury Drive, Bristol, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Silver Creek Manor, Bristol. She was the wife of the late George E. Cabral. Born and raised in Barrington, she was the daughter of the late Virgilio and Barbara (Pompeii) Lomastro. Mrs. Cabral was a CNA for Silver Creek Manor Nursing Home in Bristol for 20 years, retiring in 2005. She had previously worked for the former Metacom Manor Health Center in Bristol. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol and a volunteer for many years for the 16th of July Feast Celebration. She was a member of the Barrington and Bristol Senior Citizen Centers, enjoyed traveling and attending concerts and functions for Bristol's 4th of July Celebration and attending functions at Blithwold Mansion and Gardens and Linden Place both in Bristol. She is survived by a son, Robert Cabral of Fall River, MA, a daughter, Tracy Ann Cabral of Bristol, two brothers, Joseph A. Lomastro of Spring Hill, FL and Virgilio A. Lomastro, Jr. of Lexington, SC and seven grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol, RI 02809.
