Mrs.Antonetta“Etta” (Testa) Donato, age 87 ofHopeworthAvenue, Bristol, died Saturday, July 09, 2016 in St. Elizabeths Manor, Bristol. She was the wife of the late Angelo Donato, who preceded her in death in 1994. Born and raised in Barrington, she was a daughter of the late Albino and Maria (Jiacovelli)Testa. A resident of Bristol for 59 years, she was a jewelry maker for the former R&J Manufacturing Company in Warren for 15 years, she retired in the early 1990s. A communicant of OurLadyof Mount Carmel Church in Bristol,Etta loved to cook, crochet, dance,sing,and spending time with her loving family and friends. She is survived by four children; Angelo Donato, Jr. (Mildred) of Fall River, MA, Donna LeeSoares(Henry) of North Dartmouth, MA, Paul Donato (Kathy) and Steven Donato (MaryAnne), both of Bristol, two sisters; TheresaMorraof Bristol and DoraIozziof Cranston, ninegrandchildren (Ryan Donato, Nicholas & Madison Soares, Katie & Emilie Donato, Gregory & Jeffrey Allen, & Elysha Grant), and four great grandchildren (Jenna Scottson, Evan, Deana, & Aryana Donato), and one great-great grandchild (Alyanna Scottson). In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, SonyaScottson, sisters;SadieDAlessio, EmilyPaliotto,and HelenPezzullo and brothers;Rocco,Arthur, Alfred, Albino Jr. and Pasquale Testa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend aMass of Christian Burial, Friday, July 15, 2016 at 10:00 AM inOur Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol.
