Mrs Antonetta Benevides

Mrs. Antonetta (Ruggieri)Benevides, age 88, of Robin Drive, Bristol, died Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Alipio Benevides. Born in Providence, and a lifelong resident of Bristol, she was the daughter of the late John and Mildred (Federico)Ruggieri. Antonetta was a homemaker. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She is survived by her children, Joyce Norftill, Adeline Cruz, John Benevides, Alipio Benevides Jr., Louis Benevides all of Bristol, Gail Urso of Florida and Anthony Benevides of SD, nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Also survived by two sisters, Rose Vollaro of Bristol and Katherine Murray of Warren. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael, John and Aniello 'Chips'Ruggieri. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Monday, April 16, 2012 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol.
