Mrs. Anne J. Dimezza

Anne J. (Bruno) DiMezza, 93, of 1165 Hope Street, Bristol, RI, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. She was the wife of the late Louis F. DiMezza. Born in Bristol, RI and a lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Raia) Bruno. She worked as a hairdresser, owning her own beauty shop and later as the toast lady at Mt. Hope Diner in Bristol, Rhode Island. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She will be sadly missed by her sister Sarah (Bruno) Diodati, nephew, Joseph P. Bruno, and niece, Jane Bruno, all residents of Bristol. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul, Joseph, Samuel, Frank and Louis Bruno, and a sister, Jenny Arouca. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut St., Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt.
