Mrs Ann M. Andrews

Mrs. Ann M. (Patterson) Andrews, age 84, of Tilbury Drive, Bristol, died Sunday April 29, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Paul E. Andrews. Born in Providence and raised on the East Side and later in Gaspee Plateau in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late William and Justina (Moran) Patterson. Ann was a Bristol resident for 48 years, moving here from Riverside. She was a bookkeeper for the former Rico Machine Co. in Bristol for 30 years, retiring in 1993. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Bristol and loved spending time doing crossword puzzles. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Maryann Andrews of Providence and Carol Normandin and her grandson, Bryan Normandin, both of Bristol. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, William, John and Neal Patterson. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Grace Barker Nursing Center in Warren and the staff of the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence for their loving care of Ann. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 9:30 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Mary's Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 4:00-7:00 PM.
