Mrs Angelina Dennis

Mrs. Angelina (Borges) Dennis, age 87, of 150 Franklin Street, Bristol and formerly of Warren for 30 years, died Saturday, July 30, 2011 at her home, surrounded by her loving daughters and family. Born and raised and a resident for most of her life in Bristol, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia (Ramos) Borges. She was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Bristol, Class of 1942 and a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church, Bristol. She is survived by three daughters, Janice D. Vorro of Bristol, Cynthia Perry and her husband William of Warren and Jayne E. Dennis and her husband, Jeffrey Skillings of Bristol, seven grandchildren, Jennifer J. Vorro of East Providence, Kristen E. Conroy and her husband Jeffrey of Allen, TX, Matthew P. Perry of Bourne, MA, Nancy M. E. Vorro of Groton, MA, Peter A. Vorro of East Providence, Kate A. Dennis-Skillings of Woodland Hills, CA and Jillian N. Dennis-Skillings of Bristol, two great grandchildren, Katherine and Michael Conroy, and a sister, Anne B. Matteson of Ocala, FL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Andrew J. Vorro, III and two brothers, Manuel and Joseph Borges and two sisters, Mary Fasano and Irene Cardoza. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeth's Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
