Mrs Alice Borges

Mrs. Alice (Cadima) Borges, age 83, of 54 Barker Avenue, Warren., Alice passed away suddenly, but not alone, she was blessed to be surrounded by some of the most caring and compassionate caretakers along side of her whom she considered to be part of her family at the Grace Barker Nursing Center, Warren. She was the wife of the late Joseph 'Bucky' Borges. Born in North Smithfield a daughter of the late Manuel and Gloria (Travers) Cadima. Mary Alice was a store manager for McLellans 5 & 10,formerly in Bristol, also McCroy Corp (5&10), formerly in Fall River, and Crown Fastener, formerly in Warren. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church. Mary Alice is survived by her sons, Bradley J. Borges and his wife Karen of Bristol, Ronald P. Borges of New York, four grandchildren, Bradley J. Borges, Jr. and his wife Kelly, Kristen M., Allison and Michael Borges, three great grandchildren, Kylie K., Zachary J. Borges and Kyla M. Poissant, three sisters, Barbara Costa of Bristol, Shirley Butterworth of Warren and Lorraine Taylor of Barrington. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Gordon. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 wood Street, Bristol Tuesday at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth's Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol at 11:00 AM Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol.
