Mrs Adeline M. Travers

Mrs. Adeline Mary (Barboza)Travers, age 82, of Benjamin Church Manor, Bristol, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at St. Elizabeth's Manor, Bristol surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph R. Travers. Born in Bristol, she also lived in Warren before moving back to Bristol. She was a daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Enos)Barboza. Adeline was a Nursing Assistant at the Silver Creek Manor Nursing Home for 20 years before retiring in 1995. Adeline was a communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church. Family was her life - she devoted herself to her children, grand children and great grandchildren. Adeline will be sadly missed by her children Joseph R. Travers, Jr of Bristol, Jacqueline Taylor-Gast of Warren, Susan Slusarski of Bristol, her brother PeterBarboza, Sr, of Bristol, sisters, Ethel Marshall of Bristol and Genevieve Rodrigues of Bristol. Six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Angelina Saucy, Elizabeth Carvara and Mary Zinni. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 8:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM in St. Elizabeth's Church 577 Wood Street Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence Visiting hours are respectfully omitted In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to East Bay ARC of Rhode Island P.O.
