Mr. William D'Alessio, Sr., age 91 of 694 Hope Street, Bristol died Monday, April 25, 2011 at the Rhode Island Veterans Home, Bristol. He was the husband of the late Jennie D. (Dalia) D'Alessio. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, he was a son of the late Domenic and Antonietta (Alfieri) D'Alessio. Mr. D'Alessio served in the US Army during WWII. He was a truck driver for the town of Bristol Highway Department for many years retiring in 1985. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol and a usher for the church for many years. He is survived by a son, William D'Alessio, Jr. of Bristol. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Joseph D'Alessio. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol., Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol.
