Mr Thomas J. Mckale

Mr. Thomas J. 'Tim'McKale, Jr., age 67 of 55 Brook Street, Barrington, died Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Joyce T. (DeLuca) McKale, his wife of 42 years. Born in Fall River, MA and raised in Warren, he was the son of Helen (Wrobleski) McKale of Warren and the late Thomas J. McKale. A resident of Barrington for 35 years, he previously resided in Warren. He was a graduate of Warren High School, Class of 1962 where he was their senior class President and had lettered in both Football and Baseball. He attended Providence College and was a 1980 graduate of Roger Williams University with a degree in Business Administration. He was an Insurance underwriter for the RLI Insurance Brokerage Firm of Boston, MA for 30 years, retiring in 2009. He served in the RI National Guard for a few years during the Vietnam War Era. He was a communicant of St. Luke's Church, Barrington. He enjoyed gardening in his yard, loved cooking, collecting sports memorabilia and a avid New York Yankees and New England Patriots Fan. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two children, Meghann McKale and her husband Charles Mazzone of New York City and Ryan T. McKale of Cumberland, a sister, Helen 'Micky' Achilli and her husband John of Bristol, a nephew, Jason Achilli and his wife, Toni-Marie of Johnston and a niece, Dayna Achilli of East Providence. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Luke's Church, 108 Washington Road, Barrington. Burial will follow in St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Vernon St., Warren. Visiting hours Wednesday morning only from 8:00 -10:00 AM.
