Mr Thomas H. Crohan

Mr. Thomas H. Crohan, age 76 of 365 Anthony Street, Seekonk, MA and formerly of Cranston, RI died peacefully Saturday, December 29, 2012 at home, surrounded by his loving fiancee, Alice Rebola and his family. He was the husband of the late Teresa (Comella) Crohan. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Thomas H. Crohan, Jr. and the late Mary E. (Grace) Frey. He served in the US Army as a Corporal during peacetime with the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Tom was the Chief Engineer at the Hospitality Department at Johnson and Wales University for 43 years. Tom was a loving, caring and giving man who was always ready to help anyone who needed it and will be deeply missed by all. He is survived by a son, Thomas H. Crohan, a sister, Eileen Guercia, a brother-in-law, Richard Comella, nephew and niece, Nick Guercia and his wife Lisa, Robin Perry and her husband, Thomas, and fiancee' family, Sharon Pyne and her husband Tom, and Michael Rebola and his wife Carol, several great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a step-mother, Claire Crohan and a brother, William J. Michael. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Friday, January 4, 2013 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 4:00-7:00 PM.
